How To Solve A Problem - The Root Cause.

Why this one step is so important to solve your problems forever?

Life has the habit of masking deeper issues. To effectively solve problems, we must look beyond surface-level symptoms and uncover their true origins.

The first step in addressing any issue is recognizing its true nature - the root cause of the problem. Often, problems appear to be one thing but are actually caused by something deeper.

For example consider following:

  • Procrastination: The problem is “I’m always late..“ It may look like “I am Lazy..” but deeper reflection could reveal: fear of failure or self-doubt, poor time management or lack of prioritization, feeling overwhelmed due to unrealistic expectations, etc.

  • Strained Relationships: The problem is “I keep having arguments with my friend/partner..“ but on introspection you may find the root cause to be: lack of clarity in expressing feelings or unresolved past issues or differences in expectations or values.

  • Financial Struggles: The problem of “I don’t have enough money at the end of month” might be because of: lack of budgeting, relying on credit, emotional spending tied to stress or unhappiness, unnecessary subscriptions, etc.

By identifying the root cause of the problem, you can focus on sustainable solutions. The TRICK is to ask why repeatedly, it helps uncover the deeper causes, ultimately leading to meaningful progress.

Now I am confused about my duty and have lost all composure because of weakness. In this condition, I am asking You to tell me for certain what is best for me. Now I am Your disciple, and a soul surrendered unto You. Please instruct me.
